Jerry Eiting has a BFA in Musical Theater from USIU In San Diego. He has performed throughout the western United States in both Dinner Theater and Civic Light Opera Houses. His credits include South Pacific, Evita, Tintypes, Godspell, J.C. Superstar, Follies, 42nd Street, Carousel, Kiss Me Kate, Man Of La Mancha, Fiddler On The Roof, Hello Dolly, The Boyfriend, Tintypes and My Fair Lady.

On Maui, Jerry has starred in such musical production's as A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum, Camelot, Lend Me A Tenor, Secret Garden, South Pacific, Grease, Rocky Horror, A Little Night Music, Chicago, The Fantasticks, Sweet Charity and as Baritone Soloist with the Maui Symphony Orchestra in Handel's Messiah, Orff's Carmena Burana, Gilbert & Sullivan's Mikado and Pirates of Penzance and recently performing Toreador from Carmen with The Maui Choral Arts Association's Opera Rocks! concert at The MACC.

Jerry created Basically Broadway with partner, Debra Lynn, in 1998 to promote Musical Theater entertainment in Maui's general public and convention markets. Three separate Kihei venues were utilized over the next four years to promote Broadway entertainment in a Dinner Theater environment. These included: Oasis Poolside Bar, Sandcastle and Hapa’s. They continue to thrill audiences in the convention market today, as Maui Light Opera Company, with their musical revues of The Phantom Of The Opera, Les Miserables, South Pacific and many more.

In May of 2003, he performed the role of the Count de Chandon in the largest musical ever produced on Maui, MCLO’s production of Maury Yeston’s Phantom at the Castle Theater, Maui Arts and Cultural Center. 

In August of 2004, Jerry traveled to Scotland with Early Music Maui to perform in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Bach’s Coffee Cantata.  This production received the highest reviews possible at the Fringe and an extended invitation to return in the future. 

In December of 2004, he performed as Baritone Soloist with the newly formed Maui Pops Orchestra, under the baton of Jim Durham, in their premiere christmas concert at the MACC.

April 1st thru April 24th 2005
Starred as Don Quixote in the Maui On Stage production of Man Of La Mancha at the historic Iao Theater in Old Wailuku Town.

July 3rd 2005 Maui Pops Orchestra's American Summer Concert at The Maui Tropical Plantation. Accompanied by full orchestra, Jerry performed 2 classics from The Music Man!:Ya Got Trouble, and Lida Rose (as a duet with Debra Lynn).

October 6,7,8th 2005 In the interest of promoting community awareness, Jerry explored domestic violence as an abusive Alpha Male. This original production of inside out by Pat Masumoto was staged at the McCoy studio theater located on the grounds of the Maui Arts And Cultural Center.

February 2nd thru 9th 2006 "Camping it up" in the ensemble production Dames At Sea Jerry played the roles of Hennessy and The Captain. This was the opening show for Hawaiis newest professional production company www.proartspacific.com. It was presented in a dinner theater format with a beautiful prime rib buffet at the Maui Beach Hotel in Kahului.

Dames At Sea continued as a show only production at The Kea Lani resort in Kihei. Easter weekend the 14th, 15th and 16th of April 2006. 

August 6th 2006 Jerry proposed to Debra in Ireland and they were married at the Historic Iao Theater, where they met playing Lancelot and Guenevere.

Jerry and Debra recently starred in The Maui Choral Arts Association's Opera Rocks! performance at The MACC.
