My full name is Bernard Henry Gerald Eiting VIII. I was born in Albany New York in 1968. When I was 2 my family moved to Pennsylvania, at 4 Minnesota and finally in 1978 to Maui. I attended H.P.Baldwin High School and then Maui Community College until I transferred to United States International University in San Diego where I earned a BFA in Musical Theater. As a professional entertainer I performed with Light Opera Companies Dinner Theaters and Cabarets. In 1993 I returned home to Maui and opened a Bar with my brother and sister. At this time I performed in Community theater, worked for local radio stations writing and producing commercial scripts and  moonlighting as a DJ. Then, In 1998 I met Debra Lynn. We played Lancelot and Guenevere in a local theater production and cultivated a 12 year love story that subtly paralleled the Arthurian legend. Performing Broadway Vignettes for the Hawaii convention market plus local symphony concerts gave us many wonderful opportunities to sing together. We completed our marriage relationship as best friends and enjoyed a "Happy Ending". I continue to perform in Hawaii and Debra resides on the East Coast.

Singer: While in high school and afterwards at Maui Community College I found my early voice with Don Allton. At USIU in San Diego I studied with Elliot Palay. After college I received coaching from Seth Riggs and Debra Lynn.

Actor: Thespian motto: "Act well your part, there all honor lies". I recieved my first training as an actor from the amazing Sue Ann Loudon. She took a shy and introverted High School kid and threw him on stage. God bless her! I was hooked from the moment I earned my first laugh from an audience. Our four years together were the most formative of my life. She opened the door.

In College, I worked with many wonderful directors but namely Professor Andrew Barnicle, currently artistic director of the Laguna Playhouse. I gleaned from him comedic timing.

Dramatically, I studied Uta Hagen and Stanislavsky.

These words hung in the dance studio at USIU and they reflect the true nature of the performing artist. They are from a speech given at the opening of the Drury Lane Theater:

"The stage but echoes back the public voice, the dramas laws the dramas patrons give, for we that live to please, must please to live."
